Hey i´ve forgotten to tell you that we have yet another show tomorrow sunday 17/8 at Gula Villan in Haninge. The event is a new festival runned by the legendary Tompa Eken. There will be music from 14:00 - 21:30. Among the other bands playing is one of my favorite swedish acts Florence Valentin!  The Festival is free!

Even More!

and have a listen to "God Save Roger Nichols" soon to be released on OIB split vol 2

OIB writes about "God Save Roger Nichols"

Suburban Kids With Biblical Names – God Save Roger Nichols
After a way too long hiatus, Sweden’s finest electro-twee-pop outfit Suburban Kids With Biblical Names are back with the 4 minute pop opus ‘God Save Roger Nichols’. Their 2005 album ‘#3’ is an office favourite here at OIB Records HQ and we’ve been chasing SKWBN for a while now so we’re just so incredibly excited about this release! Its pure Suburban Kids as you know and love them, delicate keys, xylophones, progressive drum loops, perfect guitar riffs, and those infectious and upfront vocals that get stuck in your head for days. A stone cold indie-disco floor filler!

Volume 2 is set for an early October 2008 release throughout Europe via Southern Records and our own OIB Records webstore.

We are thrilled!

Perfect Sound Forever

While in gothenburg this weekend i got to borrow the book "Perfect Sound Forever" The story of Pavement by Rob Jovanovic which made me realise how much i used to love this band. Actually this made me go through their entire collection again and now i realise that i still love them. When i finally got to see them in 1999 it was pure happiness although the book tells that they really hated eachothers guts during this period.
